Chakras

The word Chakra in Sanskrit means spinning wheel or disc, which signifies the spinning vortex of energy in different areas of our body and energy field. Chakras are in charge of managing the flow of Qi or Ki in the body. For us to feel energized and have optimum health, our chakras must be open, clear, balanced and spins in their proper rate.

There are 7 major Chakras or energy centers within human body that are located from base of the spine to top of the head along the spine.  Each chakra has its own frequency, and the color and sound that are matched with that frequency.

The colors of these 7 chakras from lower to highest are the same order as colors of the rainbow with from the  lower as red and the highest as purple or violet. The and sound of each chakra, as well, are musical notes  from C for the first chakra to B for the seventh chakra. There are also elements such as earth, water, fire, air and etc. that are associated with each chakra to help us understand their characteristic nature better.

Each chakra depends on its location governs certain part of the body including glands and organs. Likewise, our mental and emotional states have direct connection to specific chakras. When chakras are overactive, underactive or blocked the natural flow of our life force is not balanced, thus causes health problems, emotional imbalances, obsessions, depression, or even affects our ability to  focus and leads to anger and tiredness.

The same as regular showering and taking care of personal hygiene, maintaining clear and balanced chakras is essential for our wellbeing, as our energy field gets affected by negative and unwanted energies that surround us every day. Sometimes the cleansing process could be very difficult and brings up buried emotions that are not easy to deal with. It is important to keep going and continue even though it is hard. Like renovating a place it is necessary to first get rid of all the old and broken stuff that are not useful anymore and then replace them with the new and fresh items. The result of having vibrant and balanced chakras improves life quality in all levels.
